MLAC 14-18 = 32
SWC 38-30 = 68

Southwest Christian turned defense into offense Friday night, surging to a 68-32 win over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey at Edgerton.

The Eagles forced the Wolverines into 33 turnovers, outscoring MLAC 27-13 off of turnovers for the game.

SWC also held the Wolverines to 36 field goal attempts in the contest.

RRC 16-29 = 45
HLOF 25-22 = 47

Red Rock Central struggled to find offensive continuity Friday, which allowed Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda to claim its first win of the season, beating the Falcons 47-45 at Fulda.

Neither team shot well in the game, but the Coyotes capitalized on more scoring chances in transition and in the paint.

The Falcons had a chance to tie the game in the closing seconds, but a potential tying lay-up rolled off the rim as time expired.

Alyssa Cowan led the Falcons with 11 points. Taylor Lang added nine points.
