TUESDAY GIRLS HOCKEY: Eagles drop regular-season finale

The Windom Area girls hockey team closed the regular season in rough fashion Tuesday night, dropping a 13-0 decision at New Ulm.

New Ulm led 2-0 after one period, then blew the game open with five goals in the first eight minutes of the second period to take a 7-0 lead.

New Ulm then tacked on six goals in the final 10 minutes of the game, outshooting the Eagles 36-11 for the game.

Goalie Fiona Robillard finished with 23 saves in the loss.
