The unseasonably mild weather has Minnesota golf enthusiasts eager to hit the course.
While some courses in the area have opened for play already, Windom Country Club has announced that the course is still closed for play.
But that could change by this weekend.
Clubhouse Manager Margo Wright stated that Grounds Superintendent Cody Sebring was keeping the course closed Thursday and Friday. However, with more warm weather in the forecast for the rest of the week, the course could be playable by Saturday.
However, if the course is open for play, it would only be for players walking the course, with no carts allowed at this time.
