The Windom Area girls hockey team survived an early barrage Tuesday night, then scored in overtime to claim a 3-2 overtime victory over Morris-Benson Area in Benson.

MBA outshot the Eagles 24-9 in the opening period, but the game was tied 1-1 after the opening frame. The Eagles took the lead in the second, but MBA tied the game 10 seconds into the third period.

Mataya Hall got the Eagles on the board in the opening period at the 3:26 mark. Madyson Fredin added an unassisted goal in the second period.

In overtime, the Eagles capitalized on an odd-player rush, with Reagan Haugen stuffing home the game-winner with 1:38 left on the clock. Hall and Ella Dockter assisted on the winning goal.

MBA outshot the Eagles 36-24 for the game. Fiona Robillard finished with 34 saves in the win.
