Marshall 41-44 = 84

An early burst in the opening half gave Marshall the lead for good Tuesday night, as the Tigers defeated the Windom boys basketball team 84-62 at Marshall.

The Eagles were within two points early at 12-10, but the Tigers used a 7-0 burst to cushion the lead. Marshall stretched the lead to 11 by halftime and never led by less than 10 the rest of the way.

The Tigers mauled the Eagles on the boards, outrebounding the Eagles 44-27. Marshall also outscored the Eagles 27-9 from three-point range.

Elliot Serreyn led the Eagles with 17 points in the loss. Drew Rothenberger scored 16 and Eli Lund added 15.
