Eagles tumble past Saints

The Windom Area gymnastics team opened the new year in victorious fashion Tuesday night, defeating St. James 119.5-101.925 at Windom.

The Eagles pulled away from the start thanks to a 10-point difference on uneven bars.

The Eagles swept the top four placings on both bars and vault and had the top three all-around performers of the meet.

Kadyn Paulson won the all-around competition, scoring 31.475. She added a win on bars (7.5) and was second on vault (8.65), beam (7.4) and floor (7.925).

Ashlyn Altman was second all-around with a 30.0. She placed first on vault (8.675) and floor (8.075), third on beam (7.05) and fourth on bars (6.2).

Ada Lund took third all-around with a 29.6 score. She was second on bars (7.2) and third on floor (7.575).

Arianna Boldt finished third on bars (6.3) and fourth on vault (8.45). Addison Colbert was third on vault (8.575).
