Windom 47-35 = 82
Luverne 49-42 = 91

The Windom Eagle boys basketball team ran out of gas in the final minutes Tuesday night, dropping a 91-82 decision at Luverne.

Luverne then raced to a lead to start the second half, only to have the Eagles battle back, eventually tying the game at 80-80.

But Luverne closed the game with an 11-2 run over the final two minutes, sealing the victory.

Drew Rothenberger led the Eagles with 28 points in the loss. Elliot Serrayn added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Eli Lund had 15 points and Charles Erickson scored 12 in the loss.
