The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners will have a new chairperson for 2024.
At the start of Tuesday’s first regular meeting of the year, the board elected Norm Holmen to serve as board chair.
Holmen is a rural Comfrey resident and represents the county’s fourth district. He was re-elected to a two-year term on the board in 2022 and will be up for re-election in 2024.
Kevin Stevens was elected as vice chair for the board. Stevens lives in Windom and represents the county’s second district. He also is up for re-election in 2024.
