Windom school levy to see .3% decrease

The Windom Area School board approved the final school tax levy of $4,316,448, a .3% decrease for 2023, at Monday’s school board meeting. The decrease is $13,194.

The general fund total is $2,059,727, the community education fund total is $78,385 and the overall debt is $2,178,33 for a total of $4,316,448.

The announcement was made prior to the regular board meeting at the Truth in Taxation meeting. Superintendent Jamie Frank said some slight decreases helped cause the overall decrease.
