GYMNASTICS: Eagles finish fourth at St. James

Snowflake Invite

The Windom Area gymnastics team finished in fourth place at the St. James Snowflake Invitational Saturday.

The Eagles scored 121.875 team points. Redwood Valley won the team title with 133.35 points.

Individually for the Eagles, Kadyn Paulson placed fourth all-around with a 32.675 score. Ada Lund was sixth all-around, scoring 31.95.

Paulson placed fourth on bars with an 8.325 and sixth on floor (8.225). Lund finished fifth on beam (7.85). Arianna Boldt placed fifth on vault (8.725) and Addison Colbert was sixth on vault (8.7). 

Eagles fall to Huskies

The Windom Area gymnastics team opened its season Thursday, taking a 125.4-121.1 loss to Jackson County Central at Windom.

The Eagles were paced by Kadyn Paulson, who won the all-around competition with a career-best score of 33.2. Paulson also finished first on vault (8.625), first on bars (7.825), second on floor (8.5) and third on beam (8.25).

Arianna Boldt was second on vault (8.55) while Ada Lund finished third on vault (8.5), second on bars (7.75) and second on beam (8.35).
