Windom approves labor pacts with unions

The Windom City Council recently approved agreements with two labor unions representing the police and the electric departments which will cover the years 2024-2026.

The first approved was for the police and is with Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc., Local 351. The second was for the electric department employees and is with the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 949.

Council member Jenny Quade offered that she hopes the employees are satisfied and happy with the contracts and reinforced that the city wants to retain the workers and keep them here.
