Four earn school board spots in Mt. Lake

In a tightly contested contest, four candidates were elected to Mt. Lake’s school board following Tuesday’s election in Mt. Lake.

Tom Fast (364 votes), Carolyn Karschnik (302 votes), Ramont Harder Schrock (263 votes) and Chad Pedersen (253 votes) were elected Monday night. Pedersen edged Julie Brugman (252 votes) by one vote. John Regier also received 249 votes and there were 34 write-in votes.
