Family reading comes to store windows

Posters have been hung in downtown businesses to promote Story Stroll, a new bilingual project that welcomes people to the Windom community by engaging readers together in a story.

Over 20 local Windom businesses have donated window space to the project which involves the hanging of a large poster with pictures and text that reveals one page of a story for a children’s book.

The first book, written by Matt De La Pena, is called “Last Stop On Market Street”.

For more on this story, please see the Oct. 11 edition of the Citizen.
