Both the Windom boys and girls cross country teams had victories Thursday afternoon at the annual Worthington Turkey Trot.
The Eagle boys won the team title at the meet, finishing with 55 points. Murray County Central/Fulda was second with 66 points.
The Eagle boys were led by Aaden Nauman, who finished fourth, individually, with a time of 16:46. Thomas Green finished sixth (17:19), followed by Charlie Smith in 11th (17:40), Braylen Lyons in 16th (17;56) and Bryce Green in 18th (17:59).
Meanwhile, Windom’s girls ran as an incomplete team, but junior Kaylee Walklin ran away with the individual title at the meet with a time of 18:48. Jocelyn Frank was 37th (25:38), followed by Jesselle Sosa in 49th (27:05).
