Cottonwood County Commissioners will hold a pair of public hearings on Tuesday to receive input on a proposed ordinance on the sale and use of cannabis in the county.
The first hearing will be held at noon. The second hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Both hearings will be held in the basement conference room at the Cottonwood County Law Enforcement Center in Windom.
Members of the county board, as well as the county attorney and county sheriff, have been working on a draft of the ordinance, which would set restrictions on where cannabis could be sold in the county, as well as setting prohibitions on use in public areas.
