The Windom Eagle volleyball team had a quick, milestone night Tuesday, rolling to a 3-0 sweep over Pipestone at Windom.
Eagle senior outside hitter Tristyn Maras blasted her 1,000th career kill during the second set of the match, firing the shot over a double block down the line for the kill.
Maras finished with a team-high eight kills in the win. Hannah Dauer added six and Addison Colbert had four.
Meanwhile, the Eagle offense started from the service line, where the team had 16 ace serves for the night. Charlee Huska went 17-of-17 serving with seven aces. Colbert, Dauer, Ember Struck and Anja Nielsen each had two aces.
Huska led the team with nine set assists. Nielsen had seven and Hailey Veenker added six. Kadyn Paulson had a team-high nine digs.

RRC 06-12-05 = 0
The state’s fourth-ranked Class A team, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, had little difficulty Tuesday, cruising to a quick 3-0 sweep over Red Rock Central at Lamberton.
The Knights used strong serving and a powerful offensive attack to dominate the first set. RTR then won the second set 25-12 before closing out the match in quick fashion, 25-5 in the set three.
Mikayla Weis led RRC with three kills. Tia Donkersloot had two kills. Natasha Erickson had four set assists. Mercedes Myers and Maia Scheffler each had eight digs.
Edgerton 25-25-25 = 3
MLAC 07-12-17 = 0
Edgerton got off to a fast start and kept its foot on the gas throughout Tuesday night, rolling to a 3-0 victory over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey in Mt. Lake.
The Dutchmen fired 16 ace serves as a team in the match, with several coming in the opening set, won 25-7.
MLAC tried to rebound, but got off to a slow start in the second set, falling 25-12. The Wolverines were able to battle through into set three, but fell 25-17.
Reagan Christians, Aayla Radtke and Brie Anacker each had an ace serve for the Wolverines in the loss.
Anacker had a team-high four kills. Kyla Wuertz added three kills.
Christians finished with 11 set assists. Radtke had a team-high six digs.
