Panther Invite
Windom had a strong showing at Thursday’s Panther Invitational, held at Tracy.
Windom’s boys finished second in the team standings with 66 points. Redwood Valley won the team title with 48 points.
Windom’s girls ran as an incomplete team. Redwood Valley won the meet with 19 points.
In the girls race, Eagle junior Kaylee Walklin ran away with the individual title, finishing in 19:12. Ella Smith was 36th (24:11), followed by Jocelyn Frank in 41st (24:32) and Jesselle Sosa in 47th (24:54). Windom’s girls ran as an incomplete team.
For the boys, Thomas Green finished fifth (16:48) with Aaden Nauman sixth (16:59). Charlie Smith took 13th (17:50), followed by Bryce Green in 22nd (18:25) and Braylen Lyons in 23rd (18:26).
