The St. James/Windom/Madelia Wings United girls soccer team had a strong defensive effort Tuesday night but couldn’t generate enough offense, falling 4-0 to St. Peter at Madelia.
The Saints netted a pair of goals in the opening half, then scored two goals late in the second half to seal the victory.
Meanwhile, the Saints maintained offensive possession much of the contest, limiting the scoring chances for the Wings.

The Saints netted a pair of goals in the opening half, then peppered the net in the second half with offensive pressure, scoring three more goals.
Scoring chances were limited for the Wings, who had six shots on goal in the contest.
