Cottonwood County Commissioners heard the long-range plans for state highway construction in the region Tuesday morning.
Minnesota Department of Transportation representative Angie Piltaver explained MnDOT’s highway improvement plans in District 7, which includes the county.
Future projects include major work on Highway 60 in Windom, which is slated to begin in the next few years. Other major work includes Highway 60 near Mt. Lake in 2031 and Highway 30 from Highway 71 to Darfur in 2032.
