A trio of tax-forfeited properties in Cottonwood County will remain standing for the time being.
At Tuesday’s special meeting, Cottonwood County Commissioners learned there had been no bids to do the demolition work on the three properties, with one property each in Windom, Jeffers and Mt. Lake.
The board questioned whether a potential bid to do the work would necessarily be time sensitive, allowing potential bidders more time to get the work done.
The board noted it would likely take action to extend the bidding time period at next week’s regular meeting.
