A portion of Windom was without power for part of Thursday morning.
According to the city of Windom’s electric department, a construction crew hit a power line, which caused an outage for much of the northwest part of town.
As of 10 a.m., most of the people impacted had their power restored, but the electric department noted that some areas could still be without power over the next couple of hours as crews worked to reroute power.
Most of the homes impacted were without power for about 40 minutes.
