The Cottonwood County Fair is just a few short weeks away, with this year’s fair running Aug. 9-12. The fair has announced this year’s free grandstand entertainment.
• Aug. 9: The Dirty Boot Band will perform from 8-11 p.m.
• Aug. 10: The Century Farm recognition begins at 6:15 p.m., followed by the Birch Coulee Ranch Rodeo at 6:30 p.m.
• Aug. 11: Rocket Donkey Productions LLC will host barrel racing at 6 p.m. Then, the band IV Play will perform a concert east of the Arena, beginning at 9 p.m.
• Aug. 12: A mounted shooting exhibition begins at 3 p.m. inside the Arena. Musician Gabriel Fueston performs in the area east of the Arena at 3:15 p.m., and the Jeremy DeWall Band performs at 7 p.m. east of the Arena.
