There were many events and near perfect weather recently in Jeffers as citizens gathered for the annual Outlaw Days celebration.
On Friday night there was a Kids Dance in the city park, and then Saturday a full slate of events took over, including a foam pit in the sunny middle of the city park, where children played and covered themselves in the bubbles.
There was a pancake breakfast at the Senior Center and then later downtown a car show and some grilling and cooking. In the city park, bouncy houses were set up for the children and there was a kids pedal tractor pull for the youngsters. Basketball and volleyball tournaments were held, and a water fight and corn hole competition. There was also a pickleball tournament in the old high school gym.
