A wide array of local residents were on hand for the recent ribbon cutting for Windom’s new Veterans Memorial.
The memorial is located near the center of town on the curve of Highway 60-71.
Over $90,000 was raised for this project and new stones were put in place recently with one of them being cut into the shape of the state of Minnesota. There are also lights so the memorial can be visited day or night.
