Workers and leaders at Toro recently came together for a successful work project to clear and improve the Environmental Center near the Windom High School.
The project is part of a $100,000 gift given to the school district last year to support the educational mission and promote environment awareness in the school and community. The purpose is to make the area a learning destination once again, as teachers can hold classes there or conduct science and environmental projects in the area.
