There is a new doctor at Windom Area Health, coming by way of Texas and Montana.
Dr. James Hinshaw was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, as was his wife Debbie, but they first met at college 600 miles away from home in Lubbock, and married soon after.
They have two grown children: a daughter who lives in Billings, Montana, and a son who is a physician in the Army living in Utah.
The Hinshaws are coming most recently from Miles City, Montana, a community comparable in size to Windom, and Dr. Hinshaw is an OB-GYN who specializes in robotic surgery.
