The Red Rock Central School District recently announced the completion of a new branding effort, featuring a new logo and letterhead typeface.
The district had previously used various Falcon design logos that often resembled the logo of the Atlanta Falcons NFL team. The district used those logos with permission, but wanted to establish a new, unique identity.
A committee of RRC staff members and administration collaborated with VIP Branding and reviewed several potential logos. The resulting logo was a Falcon design that paid homage to the communities in the district while retaining some elements of previous logos.
The new Falcon logo shows a falcon in flight with four feathers that ultimately merge into one feathered wing, representing the four communities of the district that now comprise one school. It also retained the school’s primary color scheme of red, black and silver.
