The Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office seeks information about two possible suspects in a Darfur vehicle theft. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office.
The two male persons of interest are seen in the photo here, one with a cap and one with longer hair, and the number to call is 507-375-3121. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
Deputy Adam Butler confirmed that the theft happened sometime Monday night, and a 2003 Chevy Silverado and a black gooseneck trailer were taken. The owner was R & F Enterprises of Darfur, a local landscaping business.
The truck and trailer were recovered recently in Brown County and missing were various Stihl power equipment, Yeti coolers, and other tools.
Butler reported that the owners had left their keys in the vehicle before the theft.
