Premium Iowa Pork out of Hoskins, Iowa bid $14 million at the bankruptcy auction for HyLife Foods in Windom, and now awaits final court approval on Friday for the sale.
Premium Iowa Pork (PIP) advertises itself as one of the nation’s top suppliers of antibiotic-free pork, and is family-owned since 1916. PIP runs two nearby pork processing plants.
