HyLife Foods stopped shifts on Friday, and the city and local groups have organized a Career and Resource Fair to be held Tuesday and Thursday this week at the Windom Community Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
About 1,000 HyLife workers lost their jobs in the plant closing and may be seeking new employment. There will be information and representatives from employers such as Michaels Food, JBS Worthington, Farmers Union Industries, Archers Daniel Midland, and more.
For more information, Windom EDA Director Tiffany Lamb can be contacted at 507-822-5918.
