The Windom Pirates picked up their third straight victory Sunday afternoon, racing to an early lead on their way to a 7-3 win at Worthington.
The Pirates scored four times in the top of the first inning and led 5-0 after two innings.
In the first, Kobe Lovell hit an RBI double, Kyle Espenson had a two-run single and David Volk hit an RBI single for a 4-0 lead.
Lovell added an RBI single in the second.
The last two Pirate run scored on a two-run Alex Fink double in the sixth.
Luke Gilbertson earned the complete-game pitching win, scattering three hits while fanning five.
