The city of Windom recently requested state aid in the wake of HyLife closing, and a modified bill passed the legislature last week.
The $14 million package is contingent on need, but brings resources available with the future of HyLife and new ownership uncertain.
The aid package includes $10 million for housing, $1 million to help the Windom Area School District with possible student loss, and $3 million to assist with wastewater treatment plant debt.
