Section 3AA Boys
The Windom Eagle boys golf team advanced to the second day of the Section 3AA Tournament after finishing day one tied for fourth place Thursday at Oakdale Golf Club near Buffalo Lake.
The Eagles shot a team total of 330, which tied them with Minnewaska for fourth place, two strokes ahead of sixth-place Fairmont, which did not advance as a team.
New London-Spicer scored a 315 to hold the first-round lead.
The Eagles were led by Landon Pillatzki, who finished the first day in ninth place, individually, with a 78. Eli Lund scored an 83, followed by Carter Rossow with an 84 and Alex Cory with an 85.
