Windom American Legion Post 206 will hold its annual Memorial Day service Monday, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Windom Community Center.
This year’s featured speaker will be Tera Elness, who serves as director of children, youth and family ministries at American Lutheran Church in Windom. Windom Area High School Principal Bryan Joyce will serve as master of ceremonies, with American Lutheran Church Pastor Sarah Tade delivering the invocation.
The program also will feature a presentation from this year’s Windom Area High School Girls and Boys State representatives, Tristyn Maras and Matthew Wilde.
Following the program, a brief service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery. Pastor Paul Sajban from Lutheran Church of Our Savior will deliver a brief message and lead prayers.
