The Windom Eagle baseball team wrapped up the regular season Tuesday with a rough outing, falling 9-0 at Marshall.
The Eagles were held to just three hits in the game and had runners in scoring position in just three innings. Windom’s best scoring chance came in the fifth, when the Eagles had a runner thrown out at the plate attempting to score following a fly out.
Marshall was able to score single runs in the first two innings, then put the game away with three runs in the fifth and four in the sixth.
Chayton Struck took the pitching loss, working the first two innings. He allowed three hits and struck out one.

Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove fell behind in the middle innings and never recovered Tuesday, dropping a 4-2 decision to Renville County West at Milroy’s Irish Yard.
The Falcons tied the game at 1-1 in the third inning when Quintyn Vold scored on an error.
But RCW plated a pair of runs in the fourth and one in the fifth, taking a 4-1 lead.
In the seventh, RRC/WWG scored when Dan Kleven drew a bases-loaded walk. But with the potential winning run on base, a long fly out to center field ended the game.
Kleven had two hits in the loss for the Falcons.
Hudsen Jenniges took the pitching loss, working two innings of relief. He allowed four hits, walked two and struck out five.

Loyola 000 430 x = 7-5-5
Two rough innings doomed Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey Tuesday as the Wolverines fell 7-3 to Mankato Loyola in a game played at ISG Field in Mankato.
The Wolverines held an early lead, scoring single runs in the first, third and fourth innings.
In the first, Sam Pidde singled and scored on an error. Then, in the third, Pidde reached on an error and scored on an Aidan Olson infield single.
MLAC took a 3-0 lead in the top of the fourth when Jake Evers drew a bases-loaded walk.
But Loyola strung together a rally in the bottom of the fourth, scoring four runs. Loyola tacked on three more runs in the fifth to seal the win.
Pidde and Olson each had two hits in the loss.
Aiden Penner took the pitching loss, working the first 3-2/3 innings. He allowed four hits, walked one and struck out two.
