Red Rock Conference Overall
The Murray County Central girls and Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda/Westbrook-Walnut Grove boys claimed the overall conference championships after the conference meet, which factored in two of the three 18-hole conference events plus the conference tournament.
For the girls, MCC finished with an overall score of 1,745. Adrian-Ellsworth was second with a 1,760.
For the boys, HLOF/WWG won the conference with a 1,342 score. Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey was third with 1,485. Red Rock Central was seventh with 1,755.
The top 10 individuals, using their two best scores from the three 18-hole events plus the conference tourney, earned all-conference.
No area girls received all-conference honors.
For the boys, MLAC’s Grant Oakland was eighth overall with a 269. Devyn Rempel was ninth with 271 and Joey Faber was 10th with a 276.
Red Rock Conference Tournament
The Adrian-Ellsworth boys and Murray County Central girls posted the low scores Tuesday at the Red Rock Conference Tournament, played at GreatLife Golf Course in Worthington.
For the boys, Adrian-Ellsworth shot a 343. Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey was fourth with a 410 while Red Rock Central was seventh with 432.
For the girls, MCC shot a 424. RRC and MLAC both played incomplete.
Grant Oakland led the MLAC boys Tuesday, shooting a 97. Joey Faber had a 101, followed by Devyn Rempel with a 102 and Landen Rempel had a 110.
Keagan Steen led RRC with a 103. Charles Dammann shot 107, followed by Gavin Willardson with a 108 and Bode Determan with a 114.
For the girls, Bailey Timm led RRC with a 137. Aryanna Weber had a 146. Paige Wondercheck had a 178.
Johnna Gardiner was MLAC’s lone player, finishing with a 144.
