Eagle girls 210, Wolverines incomplete
The Windom Eagle golf team earned a sweep of a dual meet over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey Thursday at the Mt. Lake Golf Course.
The Eagle boys scored a 178-194 win, while the Eagle girls shot a 210 against an incomplete Wolverine squad.
For the boys, Windom’s Greyson Elder earned meet medalist honors, shooting a 39. Carter Rossow added a 40, followed by Eli Lund with a 42 and Shaun Schunk with a 57.
Grant Oakland led the Wolverines with a 42. Devyn Rempel added a 49, followed by Layken Marcy with a 50 and Landon Strom with a 53.
For the girls, Windom’s Ada Lund and Miranda Cory shared meet medalist honors, each scoring a 46. Ali Lund added a 57 and Olivia Joyce shot a 61.
Johnna Gardiner was MLAC’s lone player, shooting a 54.
