One of Windom’s springtime traditions will take place May 20 with the annual spring citywide cleanup.
Residents are reminded that there are changes to this year’s cleanup program. Each residence is limited to 10 large items. These should be household goods or furniture. A special pickup for mattresses will be May 18-19. Tags for mattresses are being sold at City Hall.
Additionally, no electronics or items that fit inside garbage containers will be allowed.
An additional dropoff site for other items will be set up at Tegels Park and will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 20th.
