WAS Board reports impact of potential HyLife closing

Without question, the potential closing of HyLife has made an impact all over the community and Windom Area Schools is not immune to this, either.

Superintendent Jamie Frank spoke about the potential closure and the impact it could have on the school at Monday’s school board meeting. The number that was most alarming was that if 50 students moved out of the district, revenue would decrease by $425,598.
