Wolverine boys win
The Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey boys golf team opened its season with a victory in a triangular held at Mt. Lake.
The Wolverines scored a 202. Red Rock Central was second with a 226 while Hills-Beaver Creek had 242.
Meanwhile, the girls’ portion of the meet resulted in a no contest with no complete teams.
MLAC’s Devyn Rempel earned medalist honors for the boys, firing a 39. Grant Oakland shot 51, followed by Landen Rempel with a 53 and Landon Strom with a 59.
Keagan Steen led RRC with a 49. Charles Dammann had a 52, followed by Corey Arkell with a 61 and Reese Berg with a 64.
For the girls, Aryanna Weber led RRC with a 61. Bailey Timm shot a 64. MLAC did not have any varsity girls in the meet.
