Harsh winter weather conditions have caused MnDOT to close Highway 60 from Windom to Worthington this afternoon.
In a report issued a short time ago, it was stated that numerous vehicle accidents and poor driving conditions prompted the closure, which could last several hours.
State highways throughout Southwest Minnesota are in a no travel advisory due to slippery roads and poor visibility.
In addition, Cottonwood County Emergency Management Director Paul Johnson has announced a short time ago that all Cottonwood County offices are now closed for the day.
