UPDATE: Highway 60 reopens, no travel advisories lifted for state roads in county

MnDOT announced that Highway 60 between Worthington and Windom has been reopened and that no travel advisories for state roads in Cottonwood County have been lifted.

511MN notes that all state highways in the county are still completely snow-covered and travel may be difficult or dangerous.

As of 1:10 p.m., Highway 30 remains closed from Westbrook to the South Dakota state line and Highway 14 remains closed from the Sanborn Corners to the South Dakota state line. Additionally, highways 60 and 59 are closed from Worthington to the Iowa state line. However, Interstate 90 has reopened from Worthington to the South Dakota state line.

Several other state highways remain closed in Southwest Minnesota, and county roads in Cottonwood County may still be closed as crews work to plow roads and clear drifts.
