THURSDAY BOYS BASKETBALL: Falcons hold down Panthers

A stellar defensive performance sparked Red Rock Central to a 61-57 victory over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Thursday in Lamberton.

The Falcons held the Panthers to 35% shooting for the game and held high-scoring sophomore Trevor Smith, who recently went over the 1,000-point mark for his career, to just 11 points.

Meanwhile, the Falcons were able to work the ball into the lane down the stretch and hit nine three-pointers in the game.

Isaac Simonson led the Falcons with 15 points. Corey Arkell scored 14, Ashton Holmen had 11 and Ashton Juhnke scored 10.
