Judith Marcella (Tibodeau) Andrew of Plymouth, Minnesota joined her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was born on May 18, 1938 in Storden, Minnesota the daughter of Marcellus and Julia (Rowe) Tibodeau.
Judy grew up on the Tibodeau farm located just outside of Windom. She was a majorette in high school. She graduated from Windom High School in 1956 and went on to graduate from Mankato State University (Mankato, Minnesota) in 1958. Thereafter, she moved to Minneapolis.
On June 25, 1960, Judy married Gary Michael Andrew. God blessed their marriage with a son, John Patrick Andrew. John and his family were the center of Judy’s life.
Judy worked as a Legal Assistant throughout her professional career.
Judy is survived by her daughter-in-law (Michelle); her three beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Jacob and Ella; her nephew Dale LeRoy Tibodeau (and his wife Laura); and her cousins: Laura Jane Davies; Calvin Davies; Patricia (Schwab) Williams; John David Schwab, Margaret (Niermann) Garvey, Joanne (Niermann) Reeder, Carol (Niermann) Olsen & James (Jim) Niermann; Ron Tibodeau, Jack Tibodeau, Mary Lou (Tibodeau) Peterson; Robert (Bob) Tibodeau); Buddy Tibodeau, Glenna (Cotter) Thrill, Gail (Cotter) Malenke, Kay Delores (Lillig) Cotter; Arlene Gummeson; Lowell Gummeson; and cherished friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents (Marcellus & Julia (Rowe) Tibodeau), her grandparents (David Tibodeau & Luella Mary (Trembley) Tibodeau and Alfred Roe & Augusta Laura (Anderson) Roe), her beloved son (John Patrick Andrew) and her brother (LeRoy Isadore Tibodeau).
Interment will be at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Hamel, Minnesota. Memorial services for Judy Andrew will be delayed until May 6, 2023 so that family members can travel safely in good weather.
