Pipestone 42-31 = 73
Windom 30-25 = 55
Pipestone’s size and hot outside shooting wore down the Windom Eagle girls basketball team Tuesday night, as the Arrows claimed a 73-55 victory at Windom.
Pipestone worked the ball into the lane early, but then hit seven three-pointers as a team in the first half. That gave the Arrows a 12-point halftime lead.
Windom tried to battle back in the second half, but went cold from the field. Pipestone continued to attack the basket, getting to the line 14 times in the second half.
Hadley Sammons led the Eagles with 15 points. Alivia Letcher added 12 points in the loss.
