A buzzer-beating three-pointer from Ashton Juhnke lifted the Red Rock Central boys basketball team to victory Monday.
Juhnke’s shot from the right wing found the net as the horn sounded, giving the Falcons a 68-67 victory over Springfield in Lamberton.
The Falcons held a four-point lead at halftime, but weren’t able to put the Tigers away in the second half. RRC went 11-of-23 from the free throw line in the game, which allowed the Tigers to battle to take a lead late.
Juhnke’s three-pointer at the horn was the only trey the Falcons made in the game.
Jayden Lang led RRC with 18 points. Juhnke added 16, Isaac Simonson 14 and Corey Arkell 11 in the win.
