In preparation for the final levy decision, the Windom City Council held its budget presentation last week.
Among the notable statistics provided at the meeting were:
• Total revenue for 2023 is projected at $27.5 million.
• Total expenditures are projected at $27.156 million.
• Windomnet revenue is projected at $2.8 million, while expenses are projected at $2.3 million.
• Windom’s electric department projects just over $7 million in revenue and $6.2 million in expenses. The department also expects to transfer $200,000 to the city’s general fund.
