Two dogs go missing in Jeffers

Residents in the town of Jeffers and the surrounding area are being asked to pay special attention to their pets when they let them outside.
Jeffers resident Sandy Olson said that two dogs went missing within a block of each other after they were chained up outside over the Thanksgiving holiday season.
A 16-year old Pug named Lucky went missing along with a 1-year old Dachshund named Harley.
Lucky is gray in color while Harley is black and tan. There is a $200 reward offered for Harley. The dogs went missing on Stevens and Best Avenue in Jeffers.
Olson said it’s important for pet owners to watch their pets when they let them outside. She said to make sure you have your pets micro-chipped as well.
If you have any information, contact Olson at 507-628-5596 or the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Department at 507-831-1375.
