Luverne Invite
The Windom Eagles ran slightly shorthanded Thursday afternoon as the team took part in the Luverne Invitational.
Windom’s boys finished third in the meet with 99 points. Luverne won the team title with 67 points.
Meanwhile, the Eagle girls finished seventh in the team standings with 145 points. Luverne won the meet with 46 points.
Windom’s boys were led by a pair of top-10 finishers. Thomas Green ran to a fifth-place time of 17:14, while Aaden Nauman took ninth with a time of 17:29. Charlie Smith was 12th (17:48), followed by Eli Bordewyk in 34th (18:54) and Bryce Green in 39th (19:00).
For the girls, Kaylee Walklin was the meet runner-up, finishing with a time of 18:44. Charlotte Nauman finished 40th (23:22), followed by Alivia Letcher in 42nd (23:37), Victoria Robillard in 44th (24:10) and Zyanya Gendreau in 49th (24:47).
