Mt. Lake EDA director signs separation agreement

The city of Mt. Lake is officially in the process of searching for a new full-time Economic Development Authority director.

At Monday’s meeting, the Mt. Lake City Council learned from City Attorney Maryellen Suhrhoff that EDA Director Rob Anderson had signed a separation agreement with the city, essentially retiring from his position effective immediately.

Anderson was placed on unpaid leave of absence by the EDA last week. An EDA meeting held Monday at noon was a closed session to discuss possible litigation.

Tabitha Garloff serves as the Interim EDA Director until a new EDA director is hired.
